To date, there is not a single official charging station in Tver.
The Government of the Russian Federation has increased the number of regions participating in a pilot project to create charging infrastructure for electric vehicles. In 2023, 28 additional regions will join the pilot project to create charging infrastructure for electric vehicles. The corresponding decree was signed on December 30 by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
Among the new participants is the Tver region, as well as the Yaroslavl and Vologda regions that border us. A total of 40 Russian regions will take part in the experiment this year.
A pilot project for the creation of charging infrastructure for electric vehicles started in 2022. As part of its first stage, projects for the creation of charging infrastructure for electric vehicles are already being implemented in several regions of Russia .
The creation of an electric transport infrastructure is provided for in the “road map” approved by the Government for the development of the production and use of electric transport. It assumes that by 2030, the share of electric vehicles produced in the total volume of vehicle production will reach 10%. Additionally, at least 72,000 charging stations will be launched in Russia by then.
