Today, President Vahagn Khachaturian received India’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia, Kishan Dan Deval.

As reported armenpress At the start of the meeting, the Ambassador handed President Khachaturian a book by Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar “India’s Path: Strategies for an Unstable World” at the Public Relations Department of the Office of the President of Armenia .

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the prospects for the development of Armenian-Indian relations and new areas of cooperation.

The interlocutors noted that Armenia and India have great potential for deepening cooperation, that they can implement mutually beneficial programs in a number of fields, in particular high technologies, education , health, transport, air transport, culture and tourism.

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Armenia and India. Thus, it was emphasized that on the basis of 30 years of interstate relations, opportunities should be created for the implementation of more ambitious programs.
