Today, August 15, Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated Indian President Draupadi Murma and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the 75th anniversary of the republic’s independence.
“During decades of independent development, your country has achieved universally recognized successes in the economic, social, scientific, technical and other fields. India rightly enjoys high prestige on the world stage, plays an important constructive role in addressing topical issues on the international agenda,” – Putin underlined, whose message was published on the Kremlin website.
“Russian-Indian relations are developing in the spirit of a particularly privileged strategic partnership. Moscow and New Delhi successfully cooperate in various fields, effectively interacting within the framework of the UN, BRICS, SCO and other multilateral structures. I am sure that through joint efforts, we will ensure the further development of the full range of productive inter-State relations for the benefit of our friendly peoples, in the interest of strengthening regional and global security and stability,” — indicated in congratulations.
